Abstract

In engineering and in everyday life, heat exchange processes often occur between different
liquids separated by a solid wall. Heat transfer is carried out by various heat transfer processes. Steam
generating pipes of a boiler unit, for example, receive heat from fuel combustion products as a result of
radiation-convective heat exchange. Through the layer of external contamination, the metal wall and the
scale layer, heat is transmitted by thermal conductivity. From the inner surface of the pipe to the liquid
washing it, heat is transferred by a convective heat exchange (heat transfer).
