Abstract

Cardiovascular Disease is one of the most dangerous diseases which is leading cause of disease in all around the world. The healthcare industry adapts more number of technologies to make early prediction of such dangerous diseases and save human life. Every day the healthcare industry produce huge amount of medical data. Handling and extracting useful patterns from that vast amount of data are highly challenging. Data mining is the powerful methodology which can support the extraction process from huge amount of data. This data mining provides different processing techniques to provide the effective results in disease diagnosis process.  Classification is one of the familiar techniques which are used to provide the classification functions based on the class labels. Optimization models are helpful for all data mining processes which can adapt the algorithms. The optimization-based data mining processes are mainly used for classification analysis and associative analysis.  Artificial Neural network is used for prediction of heart disease using Cleveland dataset.
