Abstract

In order to keep pace with the 4.0 era of changing capital and constant mobilization,the
development of multimedia is also indispensable in the context of the 4.0 era.If in the 90s of the
previous decade, multimedia media were only black-and-white advertising brochures, television
shows with simple content and bad quality but the development of the digital age has contributed
significantly to the development of multimedia. Since then, multimedia has a significant impact
on all essential aspects of human life. This article helps us to understand thoroughly its effects on
the cultural, economic, educational and a lot of other aspects. Thereby, that helps the readers
understand the essentials of multimedia communication, then apply it appropriately in real life to
achieve the highest efficiency in work and study. In addition, the article also highlights the
positive and negative aspects of the media and the current media forms to help the readers to
properly understand the advantages and disadvantages of it so that they can choose and use the
