Abstract

- Nowadays, there is an increasing demand for electricity and also fossil fuels are depleting. For that, a change is needed for us to generate renewable energy and the other way is to recover the waste energy. This waste energy is utilized by the suspension system and converted it into a suitable form of energy. Its working principle is based only on the piezoelectric transduction. Whenever the force is applied across the sensing material, the applied force is converted back into electricity.  Here, electricity is generated from the suspension system. Hence, the fuel efficiency of the vehicle gets increases. Here, a piezoelectric disc in the springs is implemented and it is placed over by means of a spring cap. When a vehicle is in motion, the spring's relative motion is produced in the piezoelectric sensor. So that an applied force is generated in the sensor and it is converted into electricity. This generated electricity will be deposited in the storage device and finally used for all other accessories such as lights, spark plugs etc. This principle is also used to harvest more power from roads by implanting the sensors inroads for utilizing it to fulfill the requirement from the society.
