Abstract

The study of this analysis paper is to optimize the cutting condition of wire EDM for higher surface roughness and material removal rate. Experiments are conducted on AA6063 aluminium and alloy bolstered with black and inexperienced secure carbide of size 25µm (10%volume fraction).WEDM method includes an outsized range of variables that have during this paper a shot is formed to review the result of varied method parameters like metal matrix composite materials pulse on time, Wire feed and water pressure. The brass wire with the diameter of 0.25 mm has been used as the wire conductor. when the machining is finished the surface roughness are measured victimization SJ410 mitutoyo surface roughness tester. The experimental result analysis showed that the combination of pulse on time, wire feed, water pressure is essential to achieve effect of maximum material removal rate and minimization of surface roughness.
