The Study of Hotel Employees’ Perception about Management’s reaction to handle complaint of Sexual Harassment

Abstract

This study investigates employee perceptions about management reaction while handle complaint of sexual harassment. While keeping in mind two objectives, researcher has done this study. The first objective of this study was; will employee complaint about sexual harassment incidents or not? And second; what is the perception of employee toward management reaction to complaint handling of sexual harassment? To achieve these objectives primary research conducted within Punjab hotel female employees in different hotels. Further interrelationship between employee perception about complaint handling and whether they reporting incident of sexual harassment without hesitation or not examine briefly. Nonetheless, the investigation shows that most staff didn't complaint aside from the most serious cases. It has also revealed by this research that maximum numbers of employees has perception about management that they will not take prompt action.
