the educational sector with a long duration lockdown. Many disruptive practices have been
adopted in education but the final year students suffer the most both in terms of their
examination as well as in their placement process. In this situation it is relevant to understand
how the career exploration behaviour of final year students especially the post graduate
students across the globe. As the business world suffers from the pandemic caused economic
downturn and as business stalls the opportunities for the job aspirants have also been
significantly affected. In this context it is appropriate to analyse the career exploration among
‘aspiring managers’ – the MBAs and hence this study. The study focuses on the career
exploration behaviour of MBA final year students in Kerala during the Covid 19 pandemic
lockdown. The study revealed that information available, self exploration, environmental
exploration, intended self exploration and satisfaction of having sufficient information has a
positive influence on career exploration behaviour of MBA students in Kerala. Focus in
career related aspect does not show positive influence on career exploration. Stress is having
