Abstract

This paper proposes a finest power flow control in network using Differential Evolution (DE) approach considering a new Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) device. A novel differential evolution approach which is designed from genetic algorithm is considered for power flow control in network.  Basic operations of genetic algorithm are considered in optimization process. The constraints are modeled and programmed to minimize fuel price for production, deprivation of active power and constrained limits are considered for active power of alternator, line voltages on the bus. The modeling of proposed method (DE) is computed to program about solving the finest power flow in network using the UPFC device. DE approach is applied to improve the constraints like reactance values of UPFC, bus voltages, angles and generation cost. The proposed process is applied on IEEE 5- and 30-bus network which presents better results compared to former methods.
