Abstract

Cognitive Radio Networks (CRN) is subjected to the challenge of an exponential increase in mobile users count. In the CRN network, the spectrum is sensed and transmitted for identification of channel availability. Based on this CRN effectively estimate the spectrum available bands. In the CRN environment users are distinct into Primary Users (PU) and Secondary Users (SU) for sharing transmission in a single channel for efficient utilization of spectrum. However, an increase in the number of users demands diverse Quality of service (QoS) for effective and optimized interactions. This paper uses game theory for effective utilization of cooperation among the Primary and Secondary Users. Symmetric game theory is developed and analyzed for efficient channel allocation between primary and secondary users. The game model is improved with the integration of the Partial least square approach. The integration of the partial least square with symmetric game theory is represented as (PLSGT). The proposed PLSGT showing a reduction in user Blocking Probability, user Dropping Probability, Channel Saturation Probability, and increase in user Acceptance Probability, compared to the conventional CRN an optimized CRN. The simulation result shows improved Bandwidth Utilization Efficiency, Spectral Efficiency and increased number of Secondary Users served, compared to conventional CRN and optimized CRN.
