Abstract

Electrical Power distributed system will face a new challenge and technical up gradation to ensure the stability of power to the customers. There is increase in power loss and congestion in the distribution system due to large number of disturbance. This paper proposes a new routine of integrating the Battery powered Energy sources to support the distributed generation [DG] to mitigate the problem by injecting the real and reactive power to highly loaded bus. The optimization problem mainly focuses on reducing the power loss and congestion by proper sitting and sizing of DG and BPES. Different case studies are taken into consideration by concurrently optimizing the DG parameters. The optimization problem of all DG parameter is solved by using metaheuristic DE algorithm. The suggested scheme is evaluated for IEEE 57 bus system and different case studies showcase the benefit of the proposed method
