Use of Colorfull Electric Lamp Bell Implementation of Good Practice School Safe Disaster for the Deaf Students in Special School

Abstract

This study was conducted to train deaf students in terms of their preparedness to save themselves when a disaster occurs, Deaf is the inability to hear a variety of sound intensity. Based on this, the warning alert for them was made with the sound of sirens heard by teachers changing the flashing color codes in all classrooms so that disaster emergency information can be moved visually by deaf students, then they can be immediately transported by procedures that has been determined. This research method uses a single subject, in deaf students at the junior high school level with 5 students. Data obtained through pretest and post test. The results show the fact that every deaf student saves himself and classmates in a careful way. The conclusion of this study is an increase in the level of visual alertness in deaf students in information when a hazard occurs. All deaf students can be more careful when trained to save lives. Their significant improvement in terms of their self defense initiative was extraordinary. All deaf students with a level of mental retardation to average reach an increase of up to 100%. In addition, learning Science bervisi Science-Environtment-Technology-Society on learning achievement determines the difference in increasing disaster response attitudes and knows the attitude of deaf student acceptance of the implementation of disaster learning in Science.
