Application and Future of Hybrid Composite Materials: A Review

Abstract

Hybrid Composite materials plays a central role in current and future innovation programs. Hybrid Composite materials are used extensively  in automotive industry, aerospace, medical, electrical, civil and marine industries in recent years. Hybrid Composites exhibits superior mechanical and tribological properties than FRP composites. Hybrid composite obtain required properties by selection of different fibers and matrix according to the needs. This review involve about the hybrid composite fabrication from artificial fibers of polymer composite. The current paper outline the application of hybrid composite in ships and ship parts.
