Cyberstalking Victimization Model Using Two Domains of Criminological Theory

Abstract

Although cyberstalking is a very serious and growing problem that is recognizing by researchers in this aspect, yet insufficient examined, to fill this gap in the literature, the present research is theoretically develops and empirically tests a proposed conceptual model for cyberstalking victimization. Two domains of criminological theory were applied, Routine Activities and Lifestyle Exposure Theories [LRAT]. Finally, this conceptual model is copyrighted and labeled with: “CYBERSTALKING VICTIMIZATION MODEL USING TWO DOMAINS OF CRIMINOLOGICAL THEORY” < 2015 > Universiti Teknologi Malaysia – ALL Rights Reserved. This model can help the executive, legislative and judicial authorities, citizens, low makers and others to make the real assessment for this phenomenon.
