Abstract

This article discusses one of the decision-making methods when choosing the main type of
agricultural product. The purpose and hypothesis of this study is to study the question of which products it is
better to start the creation and development of small business in the agricultural sector (namely, growing
vegetables) and what behavior helps to reduce losses. To achieve this goal, the author uses the methods of
game theory. To study economic processes, a statistical game is often used, one of the players of which is
the economic environment. In the analysis of possible decision-making options, mathematical methods of
game theory were used, in particular, games with nature, namely, finding the optimal strategy using
maximin and minimax convolution, Bayes criterion, Wald criterion, Hurwitz criterion, Sevige criterion.
Decision-making processes are simulated using positional games. The given examples illustrating theoretical
positions allow applying scientific and practical results not only in agricultural, but also in related industries
of the national economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The results obtained confirm the effectiveness of the
described methodology for the decision-making process.
