Abstract

Education Knowledge Management System presents systematic knowledge practices & tools for
linking students, teachers, researchers, and external entities for knowledge & information sharing in a higher
education institution. Teaching & Learning Process has undergone a complete change due to the Corona
Virus Disease – 2019 (Covid-19) situation; all educational institutions are shut down during this pandemic
situation. However, Learning cannot stop. Higher Education Institutes & Universities are wanting to connect
with their Learner through their own inherent Knowledge-base, to ensure students are engaged with
continuous learning. It’s highly required for all Higher education Institutes to mandatory have their own
Knowledge Management System (KMS). A simple KMS may not give the efficiency of learning as
required. So, having an Autonomous KMS with multimedia knowledge base & integrated Artificial
Intelligence (AI) techniques will enable a strong learning effectiveness of the students with the integration of
Chatbots, so that students will be provided with an interactive system, through which they can retrieve
knowledge. If the response for the query that is searched by the user doesn’t exist in the knowledge base
then we proposed a Video interactive system to connect with the users. Those who do not get the required
knowledge from the Chatbot discussion -with Knowledge Expert then we proposed to use Robot Process
Automation (RPA), which helps to search the required data from existing KMS and it retrieves additional
knowledge beyond existing KMS, from the global knowledge database. This proposed AI Autonomous
Educational Knowledge Management System improves knowledge practices and processes, which facilitate
a culture of knowledge collaboration, sharing, and discovery among teachers, students, researchers in a
pandemic COVID-19 situation.
