Effectiveness of Supply Chain Analytics in Enhancing the Performance of the Organisation

Abstract

 Today’s business is customer centric hence an effective and efficient method is required to respond customer requirements more quickly and with more accuracy. This can be achieved only with integrity, integration not only among various functional areas in the organisation but also with its supply partners.  The effective and efficient method to achieve this integrity is supply chain management. All the activities in an organisation are to be integrated with a strong supply chain management. Organisation over the years as accumulated a huge volume of data. To analyse the huge volume of data and to get a better insight from the data, supply chain analytics plays a vital role. The current study analyse whether these insights generated from the supply chain analytics (SCA) really improves the performance of the organisation. With integrity, information sharing and management involvement as the constructs for the study it explores the impact of these construct towards the performance of the organisation. The study reveals that there is a positive influence between the three constructs and performance of the organisation. Also, a positive influence exists through the mediation of the management involvement between the integrity and performance of the organisation.
