Abstract

The article presents the results of studies on the substantiation of parameters of a reflector with a
rubber shock absorber of a raw cotton separator. Fluctuations of total weight of cotton particles from plate
shock absorber are considered. The analytical method studied the process of falling out of cotton particles
after its interaction with the reflector. Formula is obtained for determination of amplitude of oscillations of
total mass of cotton particle and element of reflector plate. The formula for calculation of cotton particle
precipitation time after interaction with the reflector of the raw cotton separator is derived. A number of
graphical dependencies of system parameters are built. Based on analysis of plotted graphical dependencies
of variation of amplitude of oscillations of total mass of cotton particle, recommended values are selected
for elements of reflector plate. elastic-dissipative parameters of damping plate. The mass of the separator
reflector plate element is justified. Parameters of reflector with rubber shock absorber of cotton separator are
justified and selected. Analysis of results of comparative production tests of cotton separator equipped with
recommended reflector is presented
