Abstract

This article aimed 1) to study the context of problem and threat for teaching Vipassana
Bhavana in classroom expanding project for the Faculty of Buddhism: Chaichumphonchana Songkhram
Temple, Kanchanaburi 2) to propose the development of Vipassana Bhavana teaching model in classroom
expanding project for the Faculty of Buddhism: Chaichumphonchana Songkhram Temple, Kanchanaburi.
To be quality research by educating from documentary, in-depth – interview with the key – informants from
the main instructors/teachers who have taught Meditation / Vipassana course in this curriculum. As well as
the academics man and students who have learned in the same course to be 26 person, totally. Using data of
synthesis data which was analyzed and interpreted from the theories, review of literature involved in
determination. The results of research were found that problem and threat for teaching Vipassana Bhavana
in classroom expanding project for the Faculty of Buddhism: Chaichumphonchana Songkhram Temple,
Kanchanaburi to be the instructors such as they coundn’t integrat the doctrine of Buddhism to be
approximate in the present, the methods of teaching were not the same direction as well as the problem that
took place from the person who have practiced, example they couldn’t cut external trouble off. It was the
threat to practice the same as the development of Vipassana Bhavana teaching model in classroom
expanding project for the Faculty of Buddhism, Chaichumphonchana Songkhram Temple, Kanchanaburi.
Therefore, it has applied new model and teaching process in some parts in order to be easy and convenient to
practice. However, the principle has still based on the Four Foundation of Mindfulness that could make the
learners to see 4 happiness to be happy by physical, mind, social and wisdom.
