Abstract

Based on the spatial information of 203 covered bridges and ruins in Qingyuan County, Zhejiang Province, combined with Qingyuan DEM, road, village and other data, this paper studies the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of Qingyuan County covered bridges by using the standard deviation ellipse, mean nearest neighbor index, kernel density estimates and correlation coefficients of ArcGIS software. The results show that, firstly, the distribution of covered bridges in Qingyuan County is territorial and the distribution type is agglomerative, mainly presenting a structure of six groups. The covered bridges are mainly distributed in the low altitude and flat terrain areas where human activities are more frequent. Secondly, the distribution of covered bridges in Qingyuan County are correlated with water system, road, and village, and the correlation between the three is village, road, and water system in descending order. Thirdly, according to the relative position between the covered bridge and water system, road and village, the covered bridges in Qingyuan County are mainly distributed in the upstream tributaries of rivers, county roads and other low-level roads, as well as the edge and outside of villages.
