Abstract

The purpose of this research is to detect the role of the independent research variable mental abilities (MA) of its sub dimensions (counting efficiency, verbal understanding, cognitive velocity, inductive logic, logical conclusion, spatial perception, and memory) in dependent variable adopted. Strategic flexibility of the research by its dimensions (Human capital flexibility and market flexibility), as expected that there is a correlation and an effect between the two variables, the study on a sample of university leaders at different levels of management, It is made up of (150) people surveyed according to a questionnaire prepared under controls on the construction of behavioral measures and the analysis of the data extracted through nonparametric statistical tools based on the statistical program (SPSS). The study has reached an important conclusion that there is no correlation or effect of MA in the strategic flexibility of the organizations that have been studied and analyzed, and the university has not get benefit from the MA of university leaders and did not harness them in their strategic or functional performance.
