Abstract

The way of life, achievements and scientific heritage of our national intelligentsia of the late 19th and early 20th centuries can serve as a model for today. When we pay attention to their works, articles, life and activities, social, spiritual and educational views, we see that our nationalists tried in every possible way to prevent the causes of the crisis in the life of our people. Those who critically studied the social life of this period and tried to inculcate the truth of life in the minds of people in their works were “jadids” in Turkestan in the late 19th century, that is, enlighteners who advocated renewal, development and reform. One of these people is Ibrat (1862-1937), the son of Is’hakhon Junaydullokhkhoja, one of the most innovative and serious figures in the Ferghana valley. He is one of the leading figures in the history of the Turkestan Jadid movement due to his position in the Ferghana valley, the breadth of his activities, his works, and his dedication to the future of the Motherland, people, and nation. At the beginning of the twentieth century, Is’hakhantora wrote more than twenty works, as well as scientific, spiritual, educational and historical works. Most of the articles of Ishihara published in the regional newspaper. In his articles, we see that the social and spiritual life of Turkestan in the late XIX-early XX centuries was clearly expressed.
