A Study of Squeeze Film Lubrication with Combined Effect of Viscosity Variation and Magnetohydrodynamic on Triangular Plates

Abstract

This article analyzes the influence of the transverse magnetic field on the film lubrication of the pressure squeeze between triangular plates. This equation is derived from the modified Reynolds equation. For the MHD film time, the stress element of the surfaces, the frictional force as well as the frictional coefficient, the closed form expressions are obtained. The results for various operating parameter values were presented. The effects on the squeeze film lubrications from triangular plates with couple stress fluids are observed to significantly increase the load-carrying capacity and delay the approach time.
