An Empirical Study of Factors Affecting Employee Job Satisfaction & Their influence on the Organisation in the context of Educational Institutions in Kota (Rajasthan)

Abstract

Purpose: The objective of the study is to determine level of satisfaction of workers of academic
institutions in Kota (Rajasthan).
Design/Methodology/Approach: The current research is a descriptive research. A questionnaire was
prepared to gather primary data from 266 respondents using convenient sampling. The data are collected
from various educational institutes in Kota (Rajasthan).
Findings: The results reveal that employees who are working in educational institutions are satisfied
with salary, relationship with supervisor and co-workers, working environment along with motivation.
Research limitations &implications: The study is limited to Kota only. Therefore, the findings of the
study cannot be extended to other sectors. This research emphasizes the common problems encountered
by workers in academic institutions.
