The Impact of Covid-19 Pandemic on Global Education

Abstract

The Coronavirus disease or Covid-19 Pandemic outbreak has impacted every aspect of
our daily lives today. It has intensely affected Global Education causing school and university closures
worldwide. School closures will not only amplify learning inequalities but also threatens the
well-being and safety of millions of students. The purpose of this paper is to briefly evaluate how the
outbreak has affected students, parents, and educational institutions. The author provides insights into
how leading global organizations have responded to the catastrophe. The closures of educational
institutions worldwide have led to the rise of remote learning. This research paper discusses how
students, teaching professionals, and educational institutions can maximize benefits from digital
learning by staying at their home place. The author also recommends certain measures, which if
implemented will improve the continuity of education. This paper also aims to discuss the future of
education post Covid -19 pandemic.
