Abstract

- In the present lean based business is the main wellspring of upper hand for engineering enterprises. Lean assumes a significant function in the accomplishment of lean management (LM). Lean manufacturing barriers (LMBs) become snags for LM to accomplish the objectives of the enterprises. In this paper, three classes of LMBs have been recognized, for example, individual, organizational, and technical. The primary motivation behind this research is to measure the effectiveness of individual, organizational and technical LMBs which helps the management for taking choice to upgrade the effective lean implementation in the engineering enterprises. In this paper, Analytical Network Process (ANP) structure has been created for recognized determinants, dimensions, and enablers to determine the effectiveness of individual, organizational and technological LMBS. According to assessment, the organizational LMBs have the most extreme impact on technical and individual LMBs.
