Abstract

Software Industry consists of that part of computer programming activity that is traded between softwareproducing organizations and corporate or individual software consumers. Traded software represents only a fraction of
domestic software activity, whose extent cannot be reliably estimated, since much computer programming takes place
within firms and its exact value is not captured by the industrial census or software industry analysts. The traded software
industry consists of three main sectors: programming services, enterprise software products, and shrink-wrapped software
products. It should be noted that the software industry is not confined to independent software vendors, but also includes
computer manufacturers such as Microsoft, Azus, Wipro, HCL, IBM, Unisys, and NCR who supply programming
services and software products alongside their hardware offerings and are among the largest software suppliers. The
Software Industry, which is a main component of the Information technology, has brought tremendous success for the
emerging economy. India's young aged manpower is the key behind this success story. Presently it is the major recruiters
of fresh ob aspirants with maximum pay. The study was conducted among the 180 employees working in ITES companies
in Coimbatore, to collect the data pertaining to factor that effect the QWL of ITES employees in Coimbatore district;
structured questionnaire was provided to the employees. This paper discusses in details the factors that influence the QWL
among the employees of ITES companies in Coimbatore
