Abstract

The rapid growth of wireless communication and mobile services in recent trend ascertains there is a continuous demand for beyond 5G technologies which results in spectrum congestion. Wireless communications are always carried out with limited resources like Bandwidth, Resource Allocation, channel capacity, and SNR. Multifold users in the recent wireless scenario compete for resources and interfere with one another. Co-operative spectrum sharing allows hubs or terminals in a wireless system to team up with one another for data transmission to achieve proficient use of communication resources.

The game theory is equipped for invigorating the players to help out one another to accomplish an alluring objective. With respect to the wireless networks; the hubs lie in a similar network section comprise the arrangement of the players. The procedure set comprises of the decision which is made by the hubs when concluding whether to hand-off messages for other people or not. The utility capacity ought to be planned cautiously to motivate the players to help out one another to accomplish an extensive and large objective.

This perspective is used to resolve resource sharing problem and spectrum congestion in multiuser wireless technologies. This article gives a brief survey about the utilization of game theory to modern wireless communications. It also discusses problems in wireless communication and provides a solution to those problems by using game theory concepts

Keywords-Game Theory, Co-operative spectrum sharing, utility function.
