Eigen Value and TSR in Hand Vein Recognition

Abstract

In this work we proposed a method for Hand vein recognition system using two models like TSR and Eigen. We propose a model to identify the junction points which are subsequently used for hand vein representation. In the first model, distances and angles between every pair of junction points are computed. The largest Eigen values of the matrices representing these distances and angles are used to represent hand veins. Here we proposed to retrieve the images based on the query image using both Eigen and TSR methods.
