Mechanical Properties of Aluminum based Hybrid Composite
Abstract
The Hybrid composite specimens Al7075/Al2O3/MoS2with Al7075 as the matrix and Al2O3(5-15%) and MoS2(3%) powder as reinforcement are fabricated using stir casting process. Mechanical properties Hybrid composite have been investigated and the effect of reinforcement is observed and discussed. A neural network model is built based on feed forward back propagation network, trained using Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm to effectively validate the experimental results with error below 5%. Samples which are reinforced proved to be performing better compared to base alloy. The effect of reinforcement on the mechanical properties of the Hybrid composite was significant.
