English Linguistics from the Perspective of Analytic Hierarchy Process

Abstract

Under the guidance of the new curriculum system reform policy, the focus of linguistic education is not only the teaching of unilateral language, but also the deeper research on the theoretical system of linguistics. As a common language in various countries, English plays an important role in linguistic research. A comprehensive and multi-level study of the theoretical system of English linguistics has become an important part of linguistic research. Formative assessment is an important assessment method for students' learning in College English teaching. In this paper, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is used to quantitatively analyze the formative assessment of College English, and the formative assessment index system of College English linguistics learning is constructed. At the same time, this paper analyzes the influencing factors of teaching effect, establishes the evaluation index system of College English experiential teaching effect by using AHP, determines the index weight, and puts forward a quantitative teaching effect evaluation method. The experimental results show that this method improves the operability, scientificity and rationality of College English Formative Assessment.
