COVID-19 Pandemic and Its Impact on Arrival Trend of Tourism Industry in Nepal

Abstract

This study explores the effect of Covid-19 pandemic on the tourism industry of Nepal. This study is based on the secondary data of tourist arrival in Nepal in 2019 AD and 2020 AD which are analyzed with the help of graphs and trend lines. The findings of the research concludes that covid-19 has severe negative impact on the tourism industry in Nepal. Further, it is recommended that government assistance to revive the tourism industry in Nepal.
