Multiband 8 Element MIMO Antenna Array with Orthogonal Circular Polarization for Sub 6 GHz Cellular Applications

Abstract

A multiband 8 element multiple input and Multi output (MIMO) working at the sub 6GHz with orthogonal circular
polarization is proposed for 5G cellular applications[2]. Each antenna exited with a radiating slot and feed line[3].
To obtain orthogonal circular polarization (CP) unequal fed line technique and elliptical ring slot with nonuniform[14] characteristics in ground plane are used. The proposed Multi Input and Multi Output MIMO antenna
produced high gain, desired S parameter (S11<-6dB) radiation pattern. The array have 10dB return loss between
3.4GHz to 3.7GHz.The polar angel axis ratio is less than 4dB within in the band. The antenna size is reduced The
antenna provides good features and highly useful in 5G cellular applications[6]
