Motivating Factorstowards Entrepreneurship Career Among Management Students

Abstract

The role of entrepreneur is very essential for a country like India since it is in its developing
stage. The process of an entrepreneur is known as entrepreneurship and it is the driving force of economic
development. Management education is one discipline of higher education, by this students are taught to be
business leaders, administrators, directors and executives. The purpose of the study is to identify various
motivating factors towards entrepreneurship career among management students. The focus is on the
motivating factors towards entrepreneurship career as well as to study how it is related with various
demographic factors of the respondents. The data was analysed using descriptive analysis, one way
ANOVA, t- test, and Cross tabulation with the support of SPSS software. The study found that
implementing own idea is the top rated motivating factor out of different motivating factors
