Abstract

-   In this paper, the effect of adding silica nanoparticles and grafin nanoplates on some mechanical and physical properties has been studied by adopting epoxy as a bonding material, the manual forming method has been used to manufacture composites of epoxy supported by graphin nanoplates and silica nanoparticles with different weight ratios of (0,0.1, 0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8,1) wt%, where the mechanical tests represented by the bending coefficient and Young modulus and the physical tests represented by the calculation of the alternative electrical conductivity and the scanning electron microscope were performed, the mechanical results showed that the bending coefficient of the composites is increasing with increase in the weight ratios of the supporting materials (silica nanoparticles and graphin nanoplates), where the value of the bending coefficient of the base material before the supporting was (19 * 10^6) and after adding nanomaterials the value of the bending coefficient increased where the greatest value was at the weight ratio of (0.8), the results also showed an increase in the values ??of  bending Young modulus of pure epoxy when increasing of supporting ratios especially when adding supporting nanomaterial (graphin nanoplates) and increasing of frequency
