Driving of Knowledge-Based Economy According to the King’s Philosophy into Agriculture Community Institute of Vocational Education in Agriculture Central Region

Abstract

The objectives of this thesis were 1)to study the state of driving knowledge-based economy according to the King’s Philosophy into agriculture community of Central Institute of Vocational Education in Agriculture,2)to develop driving process of knowledge-based economy according to the King’s Philosophy into agriculture community of Central Institute of Vocational Education in Agriculture, and3)to propose the driving process of knowledge-based economy according to the King’s Philosophy into agriculture community of Central Institute of Vocational Education in Agriculture.The qualitative and quantitative data of this participatory research were collected from 150 samples through interviews, questionnaires, focused group, and connoisseurship. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and LISREL 8.8. The results of the study were: 1. The state of driving knowledge-based economy according to the King’s Philosophy into agriculture community of Central Institute of Vocational Education in Agriculture in 4 aspects; learners, teachers, community, and belief lacked of continuity. 2. The development of driving process of knowledge-based economy according to the King’s Philosophy into agriculture community of Central Institute of Vocational Education in Agriculture in 5 processes; 1) Learning management, 2) Knowledge management and institutional skills, 3) Management process, 4) Institution and community relation, and 5) Driving process of knowledge-based economy according to the King’s Philosophy into agriculture community of the institution indicated that the driving process of knowledge-based economy according to the King’s Philosophy into agriculture community have  a significantly statistic figure at 0.01, and with correlation coefficient value from 0.605 to 0.785. The correlation coefficient indicator with the highest value is on learning management process (LN) and knowledge management and institutional skills (SK) at 0.785, followed by management process (MM) and learning management (LN) with correlation coefficient value at 0.753, and management process (MM) and driving process of knowledge-based economy according to the King’s Philosophy into agriculture community (KBE) with correlation coefficient value at 0.605 respectively. The examination result of the relevance of driving process of knowledge-based economy according to the King’s Philosophy into agriculture community indicated that the model is relevant to empirical data at   = 0.01, df = 1, p-value = 0.93, CFI = 1.00, GFI = 1.00, AGFI = 1.00, RMR = 0.00, RMSEA = 0.00. 3. The driving process of knowledge-based economy according to the King’s Philosophy into agriculture community of Central Institute of Vocational Education in Agriculture was obtained in the form of E-book and Application (Piyaphat Model). The new body of knowledge is that skillful learners, supportive knowledge, aim of life with creative thinking, and Buddhist innovation to sufficiency agriculture based on the respect of individual rights and integrated with life skills, self-value, competitive reduction, income development, and producing and distributing together with cooperation of national knowledge-based economy according to the King’s Philosophy; stability, prosperity, and sustainability.
