Current Technologies in Electric Vehicles: A Review

Abstract

With the growing population the demand for vehicles is also increasing day by day. The exhaust
gas released by these vehicles is a major challenging issue to be addressed with respect to environmental
safety and protection. This has indeed taken the diversion towards manufacturing of different types of
Electric vehicles which do not release any exhaust gases. Many central government policies to promote
electric vehicles are also in place with India. Batteries play a vital role in electric vehicle and monitoring the
prominent parameters such as State of Charge (SOC), material for battery, Harmonics become important.
This paper gives the current technologies and research happenings with respect to electric vehicles which is
one of the booming areas of automobile areas of industry
