Abstract

In order to improve the accuracy and real-time performance, the unified modeling and simulation
of automatic transmission (AMT) is studied in this paper. In this paper, the driver model is established by
using fuzzy control theory according to the two parameter shift rule. Simulink finite state machine theory is
used to establish the automatic shift model. In this paper, the transmission model of automatic transmission
is established, and the simulation analysis of the whole vehicle power system under specific working
conditions is carried out. The results show that the automatic transmission model is correct and can shift
according to the shift schedule. The co-simulation with the control strategy which was developed under
Matlab/Simulink was carried out to study the performance of the AMT, such as start-up, gearshift, brake,
etc. The test bench of the clutch was introduced in this paper. The experiment of clutch was carried out to
study the performance of the clutch actuator. The simulation results and the experiment data fit very well,
and demonstrated the correctness of the model. The experiment result shows that the performance of the
system can be improved by using the proposed method.
