Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship and contribution of employee
engagement with the performance of micro, small and medium enterprises or MSMEs in the Bandung CityWest
Java due to the impact of COVID 19. The method used is descriptive and verification, data testing is
carried out with validity, reliability, classics assumptions and data normality. To determine the level of
correlation and contribution, regression coefficients, correlation and terminations were used. The results
showed that all the data studied we are valid and reliable, there was no heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity,
and the data were normally distributed. The average performance of micro, small and medium enterprises is
in a very good score it is at the lowest 4.05 and 4.67, while the contribution of employee engagement to the
non-service and service sectors to performance is very small. Based on this, it can be concluded that the
performance conditions of MSME actors in the city of Bandung when COVID 19 occurred was very good, and
the effect of employee engagement on Human Resources on performance was otherwise very small.
