Application of E-Desa System Based on Cloud Computing and Green Computing

Abstract

The impact of the use of natural resources is triggered by the rapid development of technology in
modern times. The Indonesian government is actively implementing a variety of policies to conserve resources
which have a negative impact on environmental sustainability in all regions. One form among the many
environmentally friendly programs that focus on the production and utilization of information and
communication technology devices and their infrastructure is Green Computing. This will be able to reduce
the consumption of resources that will threaten the sustainability of the earth and reduce global warming. The
method used in this study is to utilize web service technology on the cloud computing network as an
implementation place and system server. The result of this research is a cloud computing-based E-Desa
application where the documentation process becomes easier because users no longer need to install
document applications on the computer used and can also be used on gadgets other than computers that are
implemented in regional villages. This application helps improve operations in the village to be more effective
