Abstract

In In this article, we approach mathematical modeling as a methodological option for the discipline of linear programming. Mathematical modeling activities made it possible to establish the relationship between the mathematical content, close to the discipline, with some problems related to the implementation of students. In this article, we set ourselves the task of analyzing the possibility of a pedagogical contribution using such a connection between the content of the curriculum and the application of mathematical modeling with the support of technology in the student's daily life, especially when such situations are related to their current or future professional activities. As key findings, we emphasize pupils' perceptions regarding the relevance of the discipline, whether for their intellectual education or for their professional valorisation and technology applicability, as well as a collaborative environment built among students that facilitated their interactions in group assignments and the exchange of academic and professional experience.
