Abstract

In every company the human factor is an important resource or production factor and has a
very big role among other production factors. Therefore, companies need to provide better and
planned handling of this human resource. One of the ways companies can handle it to get a
good workforce is by providing education and training. Perum Jasa Tirta II Jatiluhur
Purwakarta, West Java, is well aware of the importance of education and training for
employees, namely that employees have the ability to work, so that they can improve their work
performance which in turn will have a positive impact on the company. The problem in this
study is to determine how the implementation of education and training in improving employee
work performance at the BSDM Section at Perum Jasa Tirta II Jatiluhur Purwakarta, West
Java. The results showed that education and training carried out by Perum Jasa Tirta II
Jatiluhur Purwakarta, West Java had an effect on improving employee performance. The other
factors that affect work performance are the ability (ability) and the motivation factor
(motivation).
