The Effect of Work Discipline and Work Motivation on Employee Performance (Study at CV. XY in Bandung Regency Area)

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The effect of the Work Discipline variable on the performance
of CV. XY Bandung district employees. (2) The effect of work motivation variables on the
performance of employees of the CV XY. (3) The effect of work discipline variables and work
motivation on the performance of CV. XY. This research is included in the category of causal
associative research using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The population and sample
in this study were 50 respondents. Data is collected by a questionnaire that has been tested for
validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The results of
the study at a significant level of 5% indicate that: (1) Work discipline has a positive and
significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by a value (t) of 2,549, with a Sig. 0,000
<0.05; (2) Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance as
evidenced by a value (t) of 2,030 with a Sig. 0,000 <0.05; (3) Work discipline and Work
Motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by a
Fcount of 12,800 with Sig. 0,000 <0.05. The contribution of the influence of work Discipline and
work motivation on employee performance (Y) 55.90%.
