Abstract

Cloud Computing is an attractive computing paradigm in both business and academics environments. To provide fault tolerant service to clouduser is an important factor to attain the better QoS on Cloud. This paper presents the evaluation of Self Organizing Map based Hexagonal Chebyshev Gaussian and Discrete Time Organized Map (HCG-DTOM) job scheduling method against DCLOUD and Scientific Workflow Management System. The performance of these techniquesare measured in terms of job scheduling accuracy, job scheduling time and memory consumption. The experimental result proves that the technique HCG-DTOM tolerates process fault by effective job scheduling as per requirement and availability.
