Abstract

A large amount of lentinula edodes residue was produced every year, which poses an environmental threat if discarded or burned carelessly. Returning lentinula edodes residue to the field is the main way to recycle it. In order to investigate the fertilizer efficiency of the lentinula edodes residue, a pot experiment of lettuce cultivation was implemented to research the effect of the use of lentinula edodes residue on soil nutrients and soil enzyme activity, compared with that of the synthetic chemical fertilizer. The results were as follows: (1) with the use of chemical fertilizers, nutrients were released quickly, which can quickly promote the growth of lettuce, andthe height of lettuce treated with CF (synthetic chemical fertilizer) was highest. (2) The application of lentinula edodes residue can significantly increasethe number of soil microorganisms and soil enzyme activities. The number of soil bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi of lentinula edodes residue treatment were 1.56 times, 1.72 times and 1.72 times that of CF treatment, respectively, and the soil catalase activity, dehydrogenase activity and urease activity were 1.31 times, 1.40 times and 1.44 times that of CF treatment, respectively. (3) The application of fertilizers can significantly increase soil nutrients and soil organic matter. Application of lentinula edodes residue can improve soil properties and provide a way for the resource utilization of lentinula edodes residue
