that focuses on all special needs students (SNS) to access education. This intention aligns with the
Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2015 provided for the education of all children in Malaysia.
Increasing special need student (SNS) enrolment across the country indicates that the policy is
welcomed. However, a special need teacher is addressed directly to students and must be
competent and ready to deliver a better education. Therefore, this paper discusses a special need

beginning till the end. This reflection is based on Gibbs’ Reflective Learning Cycle of 6 stages
namely description of the event, feelings, evaluation, analysis, conclusion and action. Besides, this
paper focuses on the procedure of using Gibbs’ cycle to develop sefl-reflection in the effort to
improve herself before, during and after her study. This reflection also will elaborate on the writer’s
view of the future for the purpose of self-improvement. It can be concluded that self -perseverance is
not the only catalyst of success, but it also shapes characters such as self-awakening, handling
challenges wisely and do not easily on life’s problems.
