Synthesis of some oxazine compounds derived from phenols & 8-hydroxy quinolone
Abstract
The chemistry of oxazine compounds draw attention of many researchers toward the synthesis of new types of these heterocyclic compounds due to their importance in pharmacy as drug and co drug which proved their success in treatment of different diseases, Including bacterial screening,Anti inflammatory effects and cancer cell growth inhibition .This wide range effects of oxazine compounds has encourages us to focus our attention toward the synthesis and the impact of these compound in our drug discovery program during the last 10 years. In this study we have synthesized new series of oxazines compounds S(1-3) S(4-6), and S(10-13) through different routes .Compounds S(1-3) and S(4-6)were synthesized from 2-naphtol,m-cresol and ammonium isothiocyanate using ZnO Nano particles as a catalyst . Compounds S(10-13) were synthesized from the reaction of chalcone compounds S(8,9) with urea and ethyl urea. The synthesized compounds were studied by using IR, 1H NMD methods
