Abstract

In this paper, the influence of nano transition metal oxides such as {(MnO2), (Fe2O3) and (CuO) } on the structural and optical properties of (ZnO-TiO2)  films were analyzed. The prepared films deposited on glass substrate by PLD technique using Nd:YAG laser with wavelength ( =1064 nm) , energy of (800 mJ) and number of shots (400). The  film thickness is (200 nm). By using XRD and AFM analysis, we obtained the structural and morphological properties of the films. The X-Ray diffraction results showed that each film has a polycrystalline hexagonal phase structure with desired dominant orientation (100 ) planes corresponding to (2O=31.844o ). Using UV-Visible spectrometer, the optical properties of the films were characterized. The results showed that all films are strongly absorbed in the visible region and it has higher absorption when doped Fe2O3 than MnO2 and CuO .The optical band gap of undoped (ZnO-TiO2)x is (2.7eV) and decreased to  (2.1eV) when doped with  (Fe2O3).
