Abstract

Sharon grew up with strong passion, obstinacy, and a love of Marketing. In her job in the
garment firm she learnt the challenges and excitement of working in an entrepreneurial environment that
to be later formed as her own business. She had done some markets research to determine the market
size for his new boutique, a business she hoped would be the basis for starting a small start-up, which
would emerge into a chain of garment shops in high level. First, however, she needed to predict future
opportunities for his business in the face of challenging economic and marketing environment and
forecast how much business she could do in Chennai in her first year. She had already been forced to
make a significant strategic change in the direction of the company, which had cost her very much with
no expected return in sight. She knew she had better have a good argument of why she should invest in
another business opportunity if she was going to be able to keep his company alive.
