Design and Implementation of Distance Education System Based on Data Mining

Abstract

This paper presents a personalized distance learning service system model based on Web mining, focusing on the structure and function of the model, and introduces the key mining algorithm used. The system can make full use of the information accumulated on the website, such as web diary, student behavior and academic record. Through data mining technology, it can discover users' frequent access paths, frequent item sets and association rule patterns, automatically adjust learners' learning plan and progress, present personalized learning content, and create adaptive teaching websites to meet the needs of all kinds of learners. The research results have a certain reference value for the research of distance education system based on data mining.
