Query Method of Web English Education Resources Based on Semantic Topic Similarity

Abstract

In view of the introduction of multimedia network technology into College English teaching, the traditional teaching mode has been greatly challenged. Constructivist learning theory provides a theoretical basis for the new teaching mode. Therefore, through experimental teaching, this paper makes a comparative study of two different college English teaching resources query collection and teaching modes, aiming to explore the different effects of College English teaching resources query collection mode based on semantic topic similarity and network environment on College English teaching. At the same time, this paper expounds the overall design and implementation process of College English teaching resource database and learning platform. Based on the analysis of the system functional requirements, the teaching resource library and the front and back-end function modules of the learning platform are determined. The system architecture, development technology and operation environment are described. The experimental results show that the query method based on semantic topic similarity can improve the matching accuracy of teaching resources and teaching content.
